Lakeview, a proposed new subdivision in Loveland, was conceived with a singular vision of building a model community – a neighborhood where a diverse range of individuals and families of all ages will interact and share in their enjoyment of a breathtaking natural setting featuring stunning mountain and lake views and a network of trails and spacious neighborhood recreational areas, with supporting recreational and community amenities. By focusing on resident comfort, community interaction and desirable living options for families of all ages and size, with master-planned amenities including a clubhouse, onsite daycare, recreational work out center and several attached small office spaces, Lakeview is designed to be an ideal place for families to live, work and play. Recognizing the exceptional views and natural qualities of the surrounding lake and its majestic mountain views, Lakeview’s professional planners and construction engineers embarked on a series of restorative site improvement projects aimed at improving its natural surroundings under stringent guidelines embraced by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. By reclaiming acres of eroded lakeshore, strengthening the shoreline to protect it from future erosion and deepening the lake in the area directly offshore, these restorative improvements have increased water quality, improved reservoir holding capacity and will continue to improve the ecosystem through re-vegetation using native, site-appropriate plantings. Lakeview’s professional wildlife biologist and ecologist continue to work closely with the Colorado Department of Wildlife to ensure the highest level of environmental sensitivity and stewardship in all phases of the development of the subdivision. Emphasizing the value of the local economy, Lakeview’s owners sought local professionals with an extensive background and deep understanding of the Loveland community to form its development team. This team strives to work closely with economic development officials as a partner in promoting Loveland as a world-class economic development region, offering Lakeview as a highly desirable, accessibly located neighborhood that enhances Loveland’s viability as a contender for top-tier employers and generations of sustainable, primary jobs. The subdivision has been designed to be attractive to local residents, as well as executives, employees and families of prospective new businesses.
